MINERSVILLE, PA – For Stewart Friesen, Tuesday night marked another career milestone.

Friesen, of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont., earned his first-ever victory at Big Diamond Speedway in the anticipated Race of Champions Dirt Modified Tour ‘Anthracite Assault’ 60-lap event organized by BD Motorsports Media and Race of Champions Motorsports. RoC returned to the Schuylkill County oval for the first time since July 2006 with an all-star field of big-block/small-block Modifieds representing New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Canada.

The Boyertown, Pa., driver racked up his fourth The Station House 358-Modified victory of the season and 73rd of his career on B’s Automotive Sales & Service Night Friday at Big Diamond Speedway. Von Dohren won in dominant fashion from 13th starting spot at the Schuylkill County oval.

(Track Press Release) MINERSVILLE, PA – Mike Gular ‘sailed’ to his first career The Station House 358-Modified victory on Friday night at Big Diamond Speedway.

The Green Lane, Pa., driver earned $2,000 in the 25-lap main event for the small-block Modifieds, outfitted with sail panels for the first time in the history of the Schuylkill County oval. A former two-time Penn Can (Pa.) Speedway champion, Gular is a first-year Big Diamond regular driving the Terry Fasnacht/Ed Nowotarski No. 53. Gular became the 10th different 358-Modified winner this season at Big Diamond.

Billy Pauch Jr. of Frenchtown, N.J., drove to the most prolific victory of his career in Sunday night’s 31st edition of the Georgie Stevenson Memorial for The Station House 358-Modifieds at Big Diamond Speedway. Pauch Jr. earned $4,000 and added his name to the list of winners in the Georgie Stevenson event’s storied history. The victory was his first of the 2011 season at Big D.
