On this day five years ago Billy Pauch scored his most recent win in a sprint car at Grandview Speedway. Pauch was a last minute substitute for the injured Greg Hodnett in Al Hamilton’s #77.
(Track Press Release) BECHTELSVILLE, PA – Six time NASCAR 358 Modified champion Craig VonDohren had another huge payday at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night earning more than $10,000 for winning the 50-lap 41st Annual Forrest Rogers Memorial presented by Pioneer Pole Buildings. VonDohren, the all time leading feature winner on the one-third-mile, banked clay oval was able to bring the Pioneer Pole Buildings/Felty Farms No. 1c across the finish line with a comfortable margin of victory.
(Event Press Release) The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series lost to Mother Nature on Wednesday but battle back on Thursday night to present the Chad Sinon/BPG Motorsports 14th Annual TRAFFIC JAM. This popular event that started in 1998 has taken place at Grandview Speedway for fourteen consecutive years and the Thunder Series promotional team was not about to lose this event to bad weather. Jeff Strunk driving the Norm Hansell modified took the win in the TRAFFIC JAM and collected $8,500 as the top prize.
(Track Press Release) BECHTELSVILLE, PA – Six time NASCAR 358 Modified Champion Craig VonDohren wheeled his Pioneer Pole Building/Felty Farms No.1c to victory in the 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modified feature race at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night notching his third win of the season. The 20-lap feature for Late Models was won by Chuck Schutz for his fifth win of the season at the wheel of the Jesse Baro Trucking/BPG Racing No.1 while Doug Manmiller topped ten others in the Pepsi/Bashore Trucking One-On-One Challenge earning him $1,500.
