JJ GRASSO STORMS TO IMPRESSIVE $5,000 410 SPRINT VICTORY AS BILLY PAUCH TOPS THE MODIFIEDS IN THE “JERSEY RUSH” TUESDAY NIGHT AT NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY
(Event Press Release) NEW EGYPT, NJ – Rain, hail, sleet and snow will not stop the mailman and Hurricane Irene was not about to stop the first presentation of the “JERSEY RUSH” Tuesday night at the New Egypt Speedway.
The event battled plenty of rain, damaging high winds and even a power outage at the track, but when it was all said and done, JJ Grasso of Pedricktown, NJ lived up to his “Jersey Jet” name to win the 30 lap, $5,000 to win JERSEY RUSH.

On this day five years ago Billy Pauch scored his most recent win in a sprint car at Grandview Speedway. Pauch was a last minute substitute for the injured Greg Hodnett in Al Hamilton’s #77.
(Event Press Release) Even with Mother Nature sending threats of bad weather, the staff of the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series challenged all the odds and successfully presented their 100th event on Tuesday night at the Grandview Speedway.

The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series presented event #98 at the Grandview Speedway on Wednesday night. The beautiful weather brought a large crowd to the hill to see Brian Leppo of Spring Grove, PA win the thirty-five lap Keystone Cup 410 sprint feature. Jeff Stunk of Bechtelsville, PA driving the Norm Hansell modified was the winner of the twenty-five lap modified feature event.
A huge crowd turned out a beautiful night for the ninety-fifth event of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series on Tuesday night at the Grandview Speedway. Tyler Walker earned the $5,000 payoff by winning a thriller, taking the lead on the final lap from Lance Dewease to win the 35 lap 410 Sprint car feature event. In the 358 Modified 25 lap feature, Craig Von Dohren took the lead on lap fourteen from Kyle Follweiler to pocket the $2,500 first place prize.
