VONDOHREN AND SCHUTZ SHARE VICTORY LANE AT GRANDVIEW ON A VERY HOT NIGHT
BECHTELSVILLE, PA – “Hot” described the weather and the action on the track at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night as Craig VonDohren was able to win his seventh NASCAR Whelen 358 Modified feature of the season and Chuck Schutz took the honors in the NASCAR Late Model feature for the fourth time this year in what could only be labeled as the hottest weather seen in a long time with temperatures well into the nineties. It was all part of Hatfield Quality Meats Night.

The current points leader from Boyertown captured his second straight 358 Modified feature win and fourth overall of the season.
(Track Press Release) BECHTELSVILLE, PA – History was made at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night when Chuck Schutz drove the Jesse Baro Trucking/BPG Racing entry to victory in the Curt J. High & Associates Firecracker 40 Late Model race. The win earned Schutz, now the new point leader in the chase for the Late Model title, $5,000 the biggest payoff in track history for the Saturday night winner in that division. In the NASCAR 358 Modifieds Craig VonDohren was renamed “The Dominator” as he drove the Felty Farms/Kauffman’s Bar-B-Que Chicken No. 1C to victory in the 30 lap feature for his sixth Saturday feature win of the season and his 10th overall for the season.

A huge crowd turned out a beautiful night for the ninety-fifth event of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series on Tuesday night at the Grandview Speedway. Tyler Walker earned the $5,000 payoff by winning a thriller, taking the lead on the final lap from Lance Dewease to win the 35 lap 410 Sprint car feature event. In the 358 Modified 25 lap feature, Craig Von Dohren took the lead on lap fourteen from Kyle Follweiler to pocket the $2,500 first place prize.
(Track Press Release) BECHTELSVILLE, PA – “I found the top worked though I could have stuck it (the race car) in the fence anytime,” said Craig Von Dohren in victory lane after winning the 30-lap BPG Racing Don Marks Memorial NASCAR 358 Modified feature race at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night. “It was a good car. We are not points racing, we come here every week looking to win.” And win he did for the fifth time this season he was able to take home the $2,200 top prize on a Saturday night. Randy Stoudt was able to drive the No. 610 Late Model, owned by his uncle Jim, to his second win of the season in the 20-lap NASCAR Late Model feature.
