POINT LEADER HOWARD WINS MOD FEATURE FOR 4TH TIME, PFEIL TOPS LATE MODELS, WHITMOYER AND LILICK WIN SECOND SPORTSMAN FEATURES OF THE SEASON AT GRANDVIEW
(Track Press Release) BECHTELSVILLE, PA – NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modified point leader Duane Howard earned his fourth feature win of the season on Saturday topping the field in the 30-lap 358 Modified feature sponsored by his car owner BPG Racing at Grandview Speedway. In the 20-lap Late Model feature race Wayne Pfeil won for the first time since April 30, 2009. And in the two 25-lap Sportsman feature races Bob Lilick Jr. won the first one, the Mobil 1 Oil sponsored event left from a May 5th rainout and it was Craig Whitmoyer winning the second feature. Close to 100 race cars took part in the night of racing action.

(Track Press Release) Duane Howard picked up the win in the Station House 358 Modified feature at the Big Diamond Speedway. Tim Fitzpatrick and Corey Renninger earned their first wins of the 2012 season in the USS Achey Sportsman division. Marc Berzowski and Mario Donatti were the winners in the Wooden Keg Tavern Roadrunner Twin 15 Feature events, sponsored by Savage 61 Dodge of Reading, PA. Bechtelsville, PA – Duane Howard was able to win the 50-lap NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modified feature at Grandview Speedway comfortably on Saturday night. The win, worth $4250, was the second in a row for the Oley, PA racer at the wheel of the Blue Bell Air No. 4 Modified owned by Blue Bell’s Chad Sinon.
