Stewart Friesen used a go-for-broke slide job on his “pal” Jeff Strunk with two laps remaining in Sunday evening’s ‘King of the Can’ big-block/small-block Modified event at Penn Can Speedway to earn a $5,000 victory. Friesen, of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont., supplanted Pennsylvania star Strunk out front following the race’s final caution on lap 48 of the 50-lap feature, drawing a rise from Strunk and the fans at the Keystone State oval.

(Track Press Release) MINERSVILLE, PA – The race for The Station House 358-Modified championship is on at Big Diamond Speedway and Jeff Strunk has upped the intensity.

Strunk, of Bechtelsville, Pa., drove Norm Hansell’s No. 357 Troyer to his second victory of the season at the Schuylkill County clay oval Friday night during the Yuengling Brewery ‘Summer Fling, Yuengs & Wings’ program. The six-time 358-Modified champion earned $2,000 for his 43rd Big Diamond victory following a competitive 25-lap 358-Mod feature slowed just twice by caution flags.

JEFF STRUNK WINS CHAD SINON/BPG MOTORSPORTS 14TH ANNUAL TRAFFIC JAM THURSDAY NIGHT AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY POCKETS $8,500 FOR THE WIN

(Event Press Release) The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series lost to Mother Nature on Wednesday but battle back on Thursday night to present the Chad Sinon/BPG Motorsports 14th Annual TRAFFIC JAM. This popular event that started in 1998 has taken place at Grandview Speedway for fourteen consecutive years and the Thunder Series promotional team was not about to lose this event to bad weather. Jeff Strunk driving the Norm Hansell modified took the win in the TRAFFIC JAM and collected $8,500 as the top prize.

BRIAN LEPPO SCORES FIRST 410 SPRINT THUNDER ON THE HILL VICTORY WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS JEFF STRUNK TAKES MODIFIED VICTORY AT GREANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

The NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series presented event #98 at the Grandview Speedway on Wednesday night. The beautiful weather brought a large crowd to the hill to see Brian Leppo of Spring Grove, PA win the thirty-five lap Keystone Cup 410 sprint feature. Jeff Stunk of Bechtelsville, PA driving the Norm Hansell modified was the winner of the twenty-five lap modified feature event.
