JEFF STRUNK GETS FIRST MOD WIN SINCE 2009 AT GRANDVIEW, RANDY STOUDT TAKES THE LATE MODEL VICTORY
(Track Press Release) BECHTELSVILLE, PA – For the first time since 2009 Jeff Strunk was able to win a feature race at Grandview Speedway when he wheeled the Norm Hansell owned Norm’s Save Station #357 to victory Saturday night in the 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modified feature race picking up $2,500 for his winning efforts. The 20-lap NASCAR Late Model feature was won by Randy Stoudt his 55th career Late Model victory at the Bechtelsville one-third-mile, banked clay oval.

(Track Press Release by Gary Lileck) Forestville, PA – May 21, 2010 – Six-time track champion Jeff Strunk relied on a crafty late race restart maneuver to pass Big Diamond Raceway’s all-time win leader Craig Von Dohren, and won Friday’s 25-lap 358 Modified feature. The victory, Strunk’s second of the season, was contested in front of a near capacity crowd on T102/House Doctors Pack the House Night.
(Track Press Release by Gary Lileck) Forestville, PA – April 30, 2010 – The season’s first three weeks were a nightmare for Jeff Strunk. The six-time Big Diamond Raceway track champion was unable to finish in the prior trio of events, with results of 18th, 19th, and 22nd. This past Friday night, however, Strunk led 21 of 25 laps in the 358 Modified feature and scored his 40th career win at the Coal Region based racing facility.
The 29th annual Coalcracker takes place over the weekend with a 100-lap $10,000 to win feature for the 358 Modifieds on Sunday with the Sportsman and Roadrunners in the spotlight on Friday.
Great track conditions greeted the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, and Roadrunners Friday night at Big Diamond making for some of the most exciting racing of the season.
