(Track Press Release) BECHTELSVILLE, PA – Winning a race on your sponsor’s night is a good thing. Ron Kline did a good thing on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway when he drove his Curt J. High & Associates/V&M Towing sponsored No.3 to victory in the Curt J. High & Associates sponsored Firecracker 40 for the Late Model stock cars. And Kevin Hirthler was more lucky than good as he was able to take over the number one spot when leader Duane Howard went to the pits with a flat tire on the 23rd lap and then lead the rest of the way to claim his first NASCAR 358 Modified feature win of the season.
(Track Press Release) BECHTELSVILLE, PA A two hour delay in the starting time caused by a late afternoon deluge of rain young Kevin Hirthler (Boyertown) took advantage of those conditions to win the 3 Starz Landscaping 30-lap NASCAR Whelen 358 Modified feature race at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night. Ron Kline (Salford), came from 18th starting position, to win his third 20-lap Late Model feature of the season.
An unbelievable field of 70 modifieds packed the pits at New York’s Five Mile Point Speedway for wildly successful running of the Short Track SuperNationals on Saturday night.
The 358 modifieds run two feature events at Grandview on Saturday night.
