For the second year in a row Duane Howard kicked off the season by taking the win in Friday night’s 358 modified feature at Selinsgrove Speedway. Howard made the winning pass on Ryan Godown following a single-file restart with ten laps remaining. Godown finished second followed by Larry Wight, Billy Decker and Bobby Varin.
The Icebreaker VI weekend continues at Selinsgrove on Saturday with a 40-lap Race of Champions-sanctioned big block modified feature.

Johnson took the lead on lap fifty-four from Rick Laubach then held off a four car chase to the checker flag that literally saw the top five finish under a blanket.

Godown, who suffered a right-rear flat tire on lap 47 while running in a second place, pitted for fresh rubber and charged through the field to earn the victory in ‘Hand One’ of the Poker Series at the South Jersey clay oval.
