Bechtelsville, PA – On a blazing hot Independence Day, the Tobias SpeedSTRs and NEETS enduro series presented another Sunday afternoon special at Grandview Speedway.
For the third time this season, the NEETS enduro series and Tobias SpeedSTRs teamed up for a Sunday afternoon event on the high banks of Grandview Speedway. A hot sun and mid-race shower made for dramatic surface changes throughout the day.
BECHTELSVILLE, PA MAY 15, 2010 . . . The first two thirds of the 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modified feature race at Grandview Speedway Saturday night was all about Jason Hamilton, the final one third was all about Craig VonDohren as the six time past champion drove to his second win of the season and 72nd of his career. Billy Pauch Jr. did double duty running in both the Modified feature and ARDC Wingless Midget feature won the 25-lapper for the Midgets using the outside groove to storm past all competitors on his way to his second Midget win of the season. Young Kyle Hieber won the 15-lap feature for SpeedSTRS.
The NEETS enduro series and Tobias SpeedSTRs returned to Grandview Speedway on Mother’s Day. “Super” Mario Page scored his first feature victory in SpeedSTR competition and Tim Pauch made a dramatic last lap pass to win his second straight NEETS big car enduro race.
The unique combination of the Tobias SpeedSTR and NEETS enduro series hit the track on Sunday for the first of several such afternoons set for 2010 at Grandview Speedway. Kyle Hieber took the checkered flag in the SpeedSTR feature while a some familiar faces returned to victory lane during the enduro portion of the program.
